for Tyler Freeman and Thaddeus Stout?

| Once
the spaceport on the Island of the Moon becomes a financial
success, Freeman and Stout turn their attention
to the exploitation of an accidental discovery
that Stout made while trying to synthesize the
minerals that drive the Titicaca Effect. He
learned how to create an interdimensional shift
that can move solid objects - including human
beings - from one place to another instantly. Thus,
the science fiction dream of teleportation
becomes a reality, and with it, a potential
corporate mega-power known as Beam, Inc.
is born.
Bringing the
technology on line, however, is no simple task. Failed |

multi-billion-dollar buildout requirement, corporate espionage, a
government grab for control of the technology for military use, and
activists bent on protecting the alternate realities that the
process utilizes from contamination, all combine to create a series
of harrowing roadblocks and challenges for the two men.
